A NEW DAY... different than a day ago =]

I was finally able to see Eric this morning. I returned to the hospital at 7 a.m. but once again, I was asked to wait another hour. They allowed me into the surgical recovery area for about an hour. I felt like it had been more than 12 hours since I had seen him last. He will be moved to a regular room once it is available but for now, we are waiting again.

Eric was somewhat conscious this morning. I was surprised at how alert he was. Even with the meds for pain, I saw the Eric that we all know and love so much. Of course, the jokes and little antics were back in a groggy sort of way.

It is a new day and God is good ALL of the time. Thank you prayer warriors for your love and support. I will update again later... Gwen

He has proved His love to me,
When I lack the understanding,
He gives more grace to me,
My Redeemer is faithful & true,
Everything He has said He will do,
And every morning His mercies are new,
My Redeemer is faithful & true..."
