December 19th was a big day for us and 3 months later seemed like awhile to wait and yet it is approaching already as we prepare for the March 19th appointment in Cleveland. A week from this Thursday we will be making the trip on the Ohio Turnpike again for a follow up CT scan and a meeting with the doctor. The last 3 months have been great for Eric and he has fully recovered and is back to his normal weight and feeling very good. If you didn't know what he went through 5 months ago you wouldn't even suspect that he was as sick as he was then. God has blessed him with His healing power and for that we are thankful.
We know that any news is possible next Thursday but we are hopeful that we will get good news. Every day is another gift from God and none of them would have been possible without the power of prayer in our lives from so many of God's people. We ask that you pray for Eric this upcoming week as he mentally and emotionally prepares for another day at Cleveland Clinic.
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Rom 12:12
We have joy today because of the hope that we have and we know that the trials of Eric's journey have helped us to grow in our faith and to look at life in a new light. We thank God every day for the second chance he has given us to serve Him and to enjoy the blessings that He has so abundantly given to our family. HE is good... ALL the time.
We'll write again after the appointment next week.
Blessings to all... Eric and Gwen
