Unexpected Father's Day events

I haven't entered a 2nd blog in one day since we were in Cleveland last Fall however the day turned out much different then I had mentioned in my previous blog.  We came back to the ER immediately after I posted the last blog because Eric still had extremely high blood pressure and a very bad headache.  We called Cleveland and they strongly suggested we come back here to get the blood pressure under control.  It finally dropped just an hour ago.  They admitted Eric to the hospital here in Archbold so that they can watch his condition especially since he has to take another Sutent pill at 10:00.  We'll see our family doctor in the morning.  After tonight's pill, Eric has 3 more in the cycle.  We just pray that the new BP medicine will work with the treatment and he can go home tomorrow until we go to Cleveland on Thursday to see the Oncologist.

We got Eric a delicious ice cream cake for Father's Day and it's at home in our freezer.  Adam was so disappointed that he couldn't surprise his Dad with it today so I did one of those quick thinking tricks and suggested a picture on his phone for Eric to see.  So Eric got a glimpse of his ice cream cake and looks forward to a piece later this week :o)

We hope that all of our "Father friends" had a great day.

Until another update... good night.  Eric and Gwen
