Back on Treatment soon...

We found out today that Eric will be able to start treatment again within a few days.  We are waiting to hear from Cleveland Clinic to determine the first day of the 28 day cycle.  So, while Eric is still feeling good and tasting what he eats, we have decided to take a few days and get away from it all.  No real destination in mind... whatever works when we get there.  We are thankful that Eric will be able to start soon.  It was 3 weeks off today and the standard time off is 2 weeks. We pray that the cancer will continue to respond to this treatment since the schedule has been altered.  I'll update when I know for sure what is happening.

Today is actually the date a year ago when this all started in Bryan.  In some ways, it doesn't seem like a year already but I guess considering all that has happened, a year seems appropriate. Thinking back to how sick Eric was a year ago, it's because of God's faithfulness that he has survived this year and we are able to go away and enjoy a weekend (not in Cleveland, Ohio).  Have a great weekend everyone.  Eric and Gwen
