Day of Surgery - Status

Typical of being on a schedule at a hospital, we are on hold. We've been at the clinic since 7:30 a.m. and Eric is still sitting with us in the waiting room. There was an emergency surgery in the OR he was scheduled for. I've talked with Dr. Lane and he is also patiently waiting for a room and has guaranteed me that the nurses will schedule him for a room as soon as they can. We have the entire family here with us as well as Pastor Paul. We also feel the prayers of so many friends and even strangers that we've never met. We are all family in the name of our heavenly Father and for that we are blessed beyond understanding. For now, I will sign off until I know more. It will be a long day so it may be late before I can post another update. Until later... Gwen
