Tuesday - A better day

I am happy to say that the sun rising on a new day brings good news from Cleveland.  Eric is feeling much better this morning so the promise of morning by the doctor's was given... praise the Lord.  I probably got to sleep at 2 a.m. and we were awake by 6 a.m.  Eric said he didn't sleep much at all and I told him that I think his days and nights are turned around right now.  He's been in a bed for 2 days straight although this morning he is moving around much better.

I don't have any updates otherwise.  They have done some testing already but we haven't heard any results or seen the doctor yet today.  A CT scan has not been done yet.  We were going to be here Thursday for that so hopefully they include that in this stay and we can find out how effective the treatments were the past 2 months.  They did discontinue the Sutent treatment pills yesterday.  There are 3 left in the bottle so Eric almost made it all the way.  It was just so strange that he remained relatively strong through the whole cycle and then all of a sudden on Sunday, his body just couldn't take anymore.  Considering that he worked full-time up through last Friday speaks to his great attitude in all of this.

I know that many of you are watching the blog so I wanted to give a quick update this morning.  I don't know the next step, how long we'll be here, where I'll find a shower :o), etc. etc.  Todd and Sabrina are on their way here with my car and bag of belongings.  I do know that God is with us in all of this... that's what I know for sure!!!

I'll keep blogging when I know more... Have a great day everyone.  Eric and Gwen

Dear Eric and Gwen,
Know that are prayers are with you. We know that you are where you need to be and are in great hands.
I don't understand these 'new-fangled' inventions so much (just ask Adam), but I appreciate that you are keeping the blog for those of us who love and care about you.

Keep the faith!

Love, Uncle Steve, Aunt Susie and all of the Millers

P.S. If you receive this three times, I apologize. Like I said, these 'new-fangled' inventions --- just give me a phone with a dial and I'll get through to you.
