Cleveland Trip - 2 weeks earlier

I continue to hear from many of you that you are checking the blog for updates. Things are okay right now. Eric is feeling relatively good and the side effects of Afinitor are not overwhelming and much easier to deal with then the Sutent side effects. We can't be sure yet that the drug is working until the next scan but Eric does claim that the pain has lessened the past few weeks so we are hopeful that it is shrinking the lymph node that was causing the pain before.

In a previous blog I said that the next scan would be June 29th. Cleveland has decided to do the scan 2 weeks earlier so we will be going Tuesday, June 15th. They just decided that it'd be best to make sure Afinitor is working in the middle of the next 28 days cycle.

Every day continues to be a blessing. Thanks for the prayers, hugs and words of encouragement that we continue to cherish on this journey. I will blog again after the scan on the 15h.
