Eric and I got home yesterday about 5:30. He woke up in the hospital Saturday morning with hope that the pain was finally under control again. He stayed most of the day on Saturday to make sure and was finally discharged late afternoon. The surgery on Thursday had positive results. It gave him relief from some of the symptons that were making him feel so bad. After resting 100% of the time since he got home, he is a new man tonight and for that we give thanks to God. It feels awesome to be home and all together again as a family.
Tomorrow we head back to Hickman Cancer Center for his 8th radiation treatment. He has 8 remaining. He will also continue the lymphodema therapy tomorrow. We are also planning to make a trip back to Cleveland Clinic this Friday. We pray for a good week with no changes to the plan and for safe travel. Most of all we pray that these treatments reduce pain and give Eric some time to enjoy getting out of the house again. Blessings to all... Eric and Gwen

So glad everyone is home! And glad to hear that Eric is getting some relief! I will be praying for safe travels and for a week that goes as planned!
