We are hopeful that the treatment plan that was determined this week will relieve the pain that Eric has been experiencing. We never went to the Cleveland Clinic this week and after everything was said and done today, we know that God again controlled everything to save us a long trip that wasn't the right answer at this time. We have talked with Cleveland this week and have confirmed with them that what has been planned at Flower Hospital in Toledo is what needs to be done. It is so awesome how the right phone call happened when it needed to happen. We praise God that today we feel confident about the next step. It's been a long week for Eric. He doesn't feel well and the anxiety of all the appointments and tests consumes him.
So, starting next Wednesday for 10 consecutive week days, Eric will receive standard radiation treatments. We've had a good experience at Flower Hospital and feel good about being there. With all of this starting in the emergency room 2 weeks ago, after several doctors, phone calls and tests, we have a plan.
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Our prayer is that the radiation will work as planned and that after they are done, Eric can enjoy some normal activities again. It would be a blessing to enjoy some time away from the chair, just in time for Spring. Eric and Gwen
