Eric and I called Cleveland Clinic today to talk with the doctor about his condition after the 2 week break from the drug. The extreme fatigue and loss of appetite were lessened from the break. However, the edema and side effects from the disease have returned. In order to try and find a balance for Eric, the doctor has put Eric back on the drug. The schedule that Eric will try will be 2 weeks on and a week off. We will call back to Cleveland in 2 weeks to evaluate his condition. He will repeat the pattern if this goes well.
We are thankful that the doctor has approved him going back on the drug. Our prayer is that this revised schedule will benefit Eric in a way that keeps the cancer controlled and the drug's side effects manageable. I'll post with any updates. Eric and Gwen
