GOOD NEWS... God is good all the time
After 6 hours of surgery, Eric is out of surgery and the doctor is extremely well pleased with how the surgery went. They feel that they got all of the cancer and there were no complications. They took the left kidney and no other critical organs were affected by the cancer. I just want to tell everyone thank you for all of your prayers today and the days leading up to today. Eric will be in recovery all night. I will continue to update tomorrow once I am able to see Eric again. Great is His faithfulness, new every morning. We are leaving the hospital tonight with thanksgiving and will return again tomorrow for the next steps still thanking God for his faithfulness. Good night to all... Gwen

I just got home from work and read the news. "God is good all the time". I am so happy and thankful for us all to have such wonderful news.
Gwen, from me, when Eric is awake and feeling better, smack him on the forehead and tell him he shoulda had a V-8! LOL

What great news. Have been praying for your family since I heard Eric was ill. Now the healing can begin.
